The artwork used on the print system comprised of monthly promotions and core stationery for the for the groups health and fitness brands covering swimming, fitness, dance and other fitness classes. The cusomter would login to their specific area and choose which artwork to either order or edit before ordering. They could edit addresses and specifis council and centre logos on printwork whereas the social media digital assests were designed to be generic so that the user could just download the files.
Using Wordrpress and WooCommerce for an eCommerce website gives you a rock solid, endlessly expandable framework to build from. I have never been asked to supply functionality that I haven’t been able to source.
This example, the Parkwood Leisure Print Portal, was for company that needed an online digital print portal eCommerce website so that their staff could login, choose their leisure centre’s account and access range of marketing and edit certain areas with council logos and details.
After editing the a proof of the artwork was sent to the site admin to be checked before the order was confirmed and forwarded onto the print department. Payment in this case was to be in the form of purchase orders so the typical payment process needed to be circumvented. Artwork was created for the core stationery and monthly promotions, both print items and digital assets for social media platforms that the customer could edit to include there specific logo sets and details.
